MISSION STATEMENT
The mission statement of the Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont Community School District is to provide a quality education which cultivates Iowa students to be collaborative and productive citizens.
MEETINGS
The Board of Education typically meets on the third Monday on the month at 6:00 pm in the Board Room at 222 Walnut Street, Eddyville, IA, 52553. Special meetings are also called when necessary.
All meeting notices and board agendas are posted in advance, here on our website. Special provisions apply in the case of an emergency meeting.
Minutes are recorded by the board secretary and represent official actions taken by the board, but do not include verbatim transcripts of conversations and discussions from each meeting. Minutes are posted here, on our website.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
All regular and special meetings are open to the public. Individuals or groups wishing to place an item on the agenda should contact Superintendent Williamson, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont CSD, PO Box 429, 222 Walnut Street, Eddyville, Iowa, 52553. Requests should include name, address, phone number, organization represented, purpose of the presentation or pertinent background information. To be included on a Monday night agenda, requests must reach the Superintendent by noon the previous Tuesday. The inclusion of the item on the agenda will be at the discretion of the superintendent and the board president.
